Vancouver police investigate targeted shooting

Vancouver police are investigating after a shooting in the area of Killarney Street and Euclid Avenue last night.

In a release issued Monday morning, the VPD confirmed that they were called to the area on Sunday, February 19 just after 11 pm where they found a 22-year-old Burnaby man on the street suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious, but stable condition.

The VPD states that the incident appears to be targeted, and no arrests have been made yet, though investigators from VPD’s Major Crime Section have taken over the investigation.
