Vancouver penthouse party host arrested again for breaching release order

A Vancouver penthouse owner who was arrested and charged for hosting large parties in a “makeshift nightclub” inside his residence, and who filed a complaint against police over the charges, has been arrested again.

According to VPD Sgt. Steve Addison, Mo Movassaghi was arrested in his residence at 5 am this past Saturday.

“He is charged with breach of a release order, disobeying a court order, and two offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act,” Addison told Daily Hive on Tuesday.

Last month, the BC Prosecution Service also confirmed with Daily Hive that Movassaghi was already facing two counts of of failure to comply with an order made by health officials, in contravention of the Public Health Act, and an unlawful sale of liquor contrary to Section 8 of the Liquor Control Act, resulting from an incident this past January.
