The Penthouse Nightclub in Vancouver tried its best and succeeded in poking fun at yet another viral moment with a sharp message on its marquee sign at the entrance of the historic venue.

If you have no idea what the sign is referencing, it relates to a moment from a Coldplay concert that will now live on in infamy, having circulated the internet at the speed of sound.

Before this story starts, before we begin, please be advised that this story may feature Coldplay puns.

According to TMZ, Andy Byron, the CEO of a company named Astronomer, was caught red-handed at a Coldplay concert in Boston with a woman who wasn’t his wife in an alleged affair. To make matters worse, the woman he was seen holding, Kristin Cabot, is also reportedly married. To add one extra layer to this complex plate of nachos, reports also state that Cabot is the head of people at Astronomer.

A TikTok video, which has garnered millions of likes and received tens of thousands of comments, showcases the embarrassing moment as the pair were displayed on the big screen for everyone in attendance to see. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin hilariously narrates the now-viral moment.

Byron can be seen moving to the floor out of the camera’s view, as if he has dropped something extremely valuable. Based on the reaction of the pair, could it be worse? Probably not.

Martin can be heard saying, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

In another video shared online, you can hear the Coldplay frontman saying, “I hope we didn’t do something bad.”

It is certainly not the first time the man behind the sign at Penthouse Nightclub has captured a viral moment, much to the delight of its social media followers and Vancouver residents.

At the beginning of the year, when all the 51st state stuff started happening, the Penthouse Nightclub marquee said the following:

And there was one other viral moment from the 94th Academy Awards that the marquee poked fun at:

How would you rate this Penthouse sign out of 10?
