Vancouver Park Board's OneCard Launches Today

Dec 19 2017, 3:53 pm

Universal access to recreation in Vancouver is now available at all Park Board facilities with the launch of the OneCard today, July 8, 2013. The no-cost OneCard gives local residents access to the entire network of Park Board pools, rinks and fitness centres across the city – regardless of income or where they live.

“Park Board’s Onecard is good news for all Vancouver residents,” said Park Board Commissioner Niki Sharma. “It will benefit the public by improving access for people of all ages and incomes at whichever facilities they choose to visit.”

As a system-wide pass, OneCard makes it easier for people to participate in recreation programs and services. OneCard is customizable: it can be loaded with a 10-visit pass or Flexipass options, and includes a built-in 50 percent Leisure Access Program subsidy for qualified residents with financial barriers.

The new OneCard is available starting today. If you sign up before September 30, you will receive three free drop-in admissions to Park Board pools, rinks, and fitness centres.
