The second Vancouver location of PappaRoti is set to open at 193 Keefer Place in just a matter of days.

The new Chinatown spot is gearing up for a soft launch on Thursday, April 6. The bakery and cafe is replacing Brothers Cafe & Bakery, right next to the T&T Supermarket in the plaza.

This will be the Malaysian coffee bun chain’s third Canadian location, opened by husband and wife duo Sherri Zarandooz and Sam Hakimzadeh, and their business partner Javeed Somji. These three have been working towards a national expansion for PappaRoti since opening the first Canadian location on Robson Street in 2014, and clearly, they’re killing it.

This PappaRoti location will be opening just behind the Toronto store, which is located in the food court of Bramalea City Center.

Known for its freshly-baked South East Asian roti buns, PappaRoti AKA “The Father Of All Buns” makes its treats using a family recipe. These buns are warm and moist with salted butter on the inside, and coated with a coffee/caramel-flavoured crunchy goodness on the outside. Some patrons choose to add fruit, whipped cream, ice cream, and chocolate sauce to take their buns to the next level.

It doesn’t matter what’s on them, people seem to love these coffee buns, and now you can enjoy them from multiple Van locations.
