BC was treated to a Northern Lights show over the weekend (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

The Northern Lights are on most people’s ‘must see’ bucket list.

And for some lucky skywatchers in the Lower Mainland and across BC, the light show hit their own backyard this weekend.

The amazing natural phenomenon lit up the skies, as well as social media on Saturday night.
