Rumours of a possible NBA Franchise moving to Vancouver have been circulating for quite some time. If Vancouver is to get a second crack at the NBA, Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini is the man to make it happen and it looks like he has his eyes set on the New Orleans Hornets.
The NBA’s first attempt at Vancouver was a failure. However, this was not due to lack of fan support. Poor management and a low valued dollar had a lot to do with it.
NBA commissioner David Stern has confirmed talks with a Vancouver group and Stern himself has admitted that giving up on Vancouver was a mistake.
I think the NBA will be back in Vancouver within the next five years.
