Festival founder and executive director, David Vertesi, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe, to raise $5,000 for the mural painting.

“There’s one wall that we really wanted to do, it’s massive, it’s amazing,” says Vertesi in a video on his fundraising site.

If enough funds are raised to cover costs, world famous Parisian street artist KASHINK will be able to finish the work, which is currently only partially completed.

“We just need some help from you, and maybe your friends, and this could be a reality,” says Vertesi. “Help us with #OneMoreWall.”

Vancouver’s first ever Mural Festival saw 41 new amazing, permanent murals bring a splash of colour and life to walls on Main Street and the surrounding area.
