UPDATE: Police have confirmed that Sophy Savard has been located safe and sound in Vancouver.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 19-year-old woman.
Sophy Savard was last seen on the evening of November 17 in the area of Grandview Highway and Rupert Street in East Vancouver. She has had no contact with friends or family since.
The 19-year-old is described as white, 5’3” tall, 110 pounds, with a fair complexion.
She has shoulder length hair in dreadlocks, a nose piercing, stretched earlobes, and a tattoo of a mushroom on her right wrist as well as a peace sign on her left hand.
Sophy is believed to be wearing a black toque, blue-gray wool sweater, and a brown vest. She may have a blue MEC brand hiking backpack with her.
Anyone who sees Sophy, or has information on her whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1.
