Vancouver man faces bullies by baring it all on camera (VIDEO)

Brice Royer is no stranger to bullying. He’s been called a loser and people criticize his ultra slim body. At 5’11” he weighs just 95 pounds, a direct result of having cancer.

But knowing he has health issues didn’t stop people from calling him names, and he decided to take action and inspire others by revealing his biggest insecurity: his body.

“I realized I was critical of myself and that I needed to not be a hypocrite and set an example,” says Royer to Vancity Buzz.

“I feel that bullies need love the most.”

In the video, Royer strips down to his boxers, revealing a body that he feels is too skinny. He points to his “protruding ribs” and legs that “aren’t normal”.

His health is still in poor shape. The tumour in his gastrointestinal tract still remains, although it hasn’t grown lately.

A big challenge he faces right now is trying to find a good general practitioner.

“My case is so complex because there’s so many other things going on, not just the tumour. I need to get my energy up so I can follow up on the tumour and other health issues, so it’s kind of a catch-22: I need a family doctor to be able to start helping me with all these things.”

In the end, he wants people to take away a critical message:

“Love yourself, and love your bullies.”
