25-year old Vancouver resident Brendan Roshinsky has been arrested and charged by Surrey RCMP for drugging another man and stealing his car.

Police allege he drugged a man on November 8 after meeting him online. The victim was given a drink spiked with GHB (the date rape drug) which caused him to go unconscious, allowing Roshinsky to steal items from the victim’s residence such as cash, electronics and his vehicle.

He is charged with administering a drug to commit an indictable offense, theft over $5,000 and motor vehicle theft. He is currently in custody and will be appearing in provincial court today.

RCMP have discovered Roshinsky has been in contact with other men and believe there could be other victims. Police are appealing to any individuals victimized in similar circumstances to come forward.

If you have information, you are asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-TIPS.
