On Sunday August 15th Trout Lake (in Commercial Drive, East Van) will be hosting the10th Annual Latin Summer Festival! The event is free and everyone (Latino or not) is welcome to join in on the festivities. Latinos in Action is hosting its annual celebration of Latino culture and heritage at Trout Lake (John Hendry Park) on Sunday, August 15 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be musical performances from salsa, flamenco, reggae and other artists, an outdoor dance floor, food vendors offering authentic Latin-American dishes, an artisan market and children’s play area.
