What is the capital of Canada? “Probably Vancouver or something,” right? Those were the answers given by students of Harvard University.
The Harvard Crimson, the Ivy League school’s newspaper, recently asked students on campus whether they knew where the capital of Canada was located.
Their answers captured on video were… well, embarrassing. The correct answer is of course the city of Ottawa in the province of Ontario, a 4,600+ kilometre drive east of Vancouver.

“I don’t know… I have no idea!”

“Probably Vancouver or something…”

“Umm… Alberta? That’s not right, I have no idea.”

“Oh my god… umm that’s really bad… that’s really bad that I don’t know.”

“Is it Toronto?”

“I don’t know… I’m sorry, Canada.”

“Ontario?”

“Ummm… is it Quebec?”

“Ontario?”

“Oh my god… Vancouver?”

“I’m debating Toronto.”

“Ottawa.” But she’s Canadian.

“Hashtag embarrassing!”
