Vancouver is about to get a little Grimm…

Concrete Vertigo Productions presents Grimm Girls: Once Upon A Tease; a Las Vegas style Burlesque Extravaganza playing May 10 to 25 at The PAL Theatre in Vancouver.

Grimm Girls aims to not only be a show, but an experience where the worlds of Burlesque and Musical Theatre fuse to create a sexy, hilarious romp in which classic Brothers Grimm fables collide. The world created will be familiar yet surprising, filled with well-known characters being updated to a sexy, contemporary twist. We guarantee you have never seen Snow White, Cinderella, Red Riding Hood and the Evil Queen quite like this before.

Grimm Girls will be Concrete Vertigo’s third and most ambitious production yet. We aim to do something different and unique within the Vancouver theatre scene. The fusing of traditional musical theatre with the art of Burlesque is not only exciting but brings different kinds of artists together under one roof.

The production team includes co-directors Dawn Ewen (also choreographing) and Mike Kovac, Musical Director Maddison Popov, Sound Designer David Kovac, Producer/Writer Cameron Chase and co-producers Sable Strub and Rosie Simon. The supremely talented cast includes Jacqueline Breakwell (pulling double duty as our costume designer) Sable Strub, Rosie Simon, Ranae Miller, Jeremy O’Driscoll, Mike Kovac, Ryan Bolton, Megan Solis, Ben Bilodeau, Emily Kapahi, Javia Selina, Alex Gullason, Jennifer Doan, Lauren Gula, Stephanie Liotopoulos, Kate MacQueen, Nilsen Tiefenbach and Dimitrios Stephanoy.

Grimm Girls plays at The PAL Theatre May 10 to 12, 15 to 18 and 22 to 25. Show starts at 8 p.m., while doors and the bar open at 7 p.m.
