Vancouver-based made-to-measure suit company Indochino has announced a new CEO.

Founder of Drew Green will take the position while outgoing CEO and co-founder Kyle Vucko will continue with the company as a strategic advisor.

“Founding a company takes courage, resiliency and an uncommon fortitude. Kyle is an outstanding entrepreneur who has fundamentally changed the way men buy suits. He has grown the business from an idea sketched on a napkin at university to a global brand, with distribution to 106 countries,” said Green in a release.

Green has a solid resume. On top of founding, he’s also held leadership roles with Flonetwork, DoubleClick, and He founded Katapult Internet in 2011, a holding company with over a dozen companies in web, retail, and emerging market categories.

“I believe rapid growth is achieved through a combination of great people, quality products, and partnerships that multiply the potential of unbelievable customer experiences at scale. As such, I see tremendous global potential for Indochino. In a few short years, the company has grown from nascent start-up to a preeminent menswear company that is fundamentally changing the way men dress,” said Green.

Indochino’s website was first launched in 2007 by Vucko and Heikai Gani, both University of Victoria students at the time. The web-based suit company distributes to 106 countries and has offices in Vancouver and Shanghai, as well as showrooms in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Beverly Hills, and Boston.

The company has a goal to deliver one million suits a year by 2020 and was featured by BusinessWeek in their America’s Most Promising Startups series.
