Vancouver luxury home in the British Properties listed for $22M

A massive and luxurious Vancouver home, located in the British Properties neighbourhood, that offers a vast array of amenities, was recently listed for well over the assessed value.
1036 Eyremount Dr. is a seven-bedroom and 11-bathroom home offering over 11,300 sq. ft. of living space.
While BC Assessment values the home at $9,238,000, it was listed for over double that with an asking price of $21,980,000 earlier this week, according to Zealty. BC Assessment values the land at $4,949,000.

If the home were to sell at its current price, it would buck an ongoing trend in the luxury housing market in Vancouver.
According to Zealty, when examining publicly reported sales over the last 90 days, not a single home in Vancouver sold for over $20 million. In that period, only one home sold for over $15 million, and only two have sold for over $10 million.
Over the last 36 months, only three properties have sold for over $20 million.
