Every year we like to provide everybody a list of charities for the holiday season. ‘Tis the season of giving.

Salvation Army Kettle
The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life, provides shelter for homeless people and rehabilitation for people who have lost control of their lives to an addiction.

Union Gospel
Through a comprehensive range of life-changing services– including meals, outreach, emergency shelter, alcohol and drug recovery, employment and education, affordable housing and children and families programs– UGM offers help and hope while creating brighter futures for men, women and children in our communities.

Vancouver Food Bank
The GVFBS collects and distributes food to over 25‚000 people weekly through 15 food depots and over 100 community agencies located in Vancouver‚ Burnaby‚ New Westminster and the North Shore.

Festival of Trees
Visitors can vote for their favorite tree by submitting a donation and entering a draw to win one of three prizes donated by West Jet, Atlantis Programs and Pedalheads Bike Camp.

United Way Gift Catalogue
When you buy a gift for Someone through Imagine, we don’t actually pack up the soccer balls and gardening tools and deliver them to someone in the Lower Mainland. Each Imagine gift represents the life-changing programs and services funded through United Way.

Vancouver Sock Drive
Socks are a small but crucial part in the health and safety of underprivileged people, especially in the cold and wet months ahead. Socks prevent frost bites, the spread of disease and infections yet most of us take clean socks and warm, dry feet for granted. Homeless people do not have access to clean dry socks on an ongoing basis and must continue to reuse their socks and some are forced to go without.
