You can fly from Vancouver to Havana for $334 roundtrip this fall

Known as the ‘Pearl of the Antilles,’ Cuba is full of culture, history, and natural beauty.

Between the warm, vibrant atmosphere, 6,000 km of coasts, and more than 600 beaches, it really does capture the spirit of a Caribbean escape.

And if you’re thinking of making a trip there to see all this for yourself, now might be the perfect time to plan one. Just make sure you don’t leave before reading our travel tips, because travelling in Cuba is a very unique experience!

According to the travel gurus over at YVR deals, Interjet has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Havana, Cuba down to between $334 and $372 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

This is a particularly good deal, as these same types flights generally hover around the $800 range and work their way up from there.

The flights have one stop each way, in Mexico City, for six hours on the way down, and three-and-a-half hours on the way home and include one piece of checked luggage.

Most flights to Havana are bundled as part of a pre-packaged trip, and those are usually much faster flights (Air Transat has some that are non-stop). But they’re also usually quite expensive if you try to book them without a package deal.

This particular deal applies to select dates in October, November, and early December of this year.

How to find and book this deal

  2. Search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Havana, Cuba (HAV)
  3. Try one of the following date combinations: October 13 or 14 to October 19 or 26 / October 17 or 18 to October 26 / October 20 or 21 to October 26 / November 7 or 8 to November 23 or 24 / November 29 t0 December 8
