Tucked into a busy corner of Yaletown, this hat shop is making it a mission to revive the neighbourhood hat shop to make every head in Vancouver a fashionable one. And they certainly have the street cred – after all, Goorins Bros. is responsible for designing the Heisenberg bowler hat that was made famous by Breaking Bad TV drama.
When you walk into the doors, one can be expected to be greeted by the staff and if you’re lucky you may catch the resident milliner too. They will measure your head, show you around the shop, help you find something that will look good on your head, then the fun starts with customization.
You’ll find a wide selection of features, vintage pins, ribbons on hooks (no sew) and more. If off-the-shelf is not your style, you’re in luck, as you can work one-on-one with the milliner to bring your hat vision to life with customized accents, fabrics and shapes.
