Target shooting isn’t just for the boys. Women are increasingly growing interested in the sport. A new shooter might be interested in furthering her knowledge with firearms, or take aim simply for the novelty of hanging a paper target with 9mm holes at her desk for bragging rights.
Metro Vancouver residents may not realize there’s a place they can go to fire weapons. That’s where the Vancouver Gun Range comes in.
Vancouver Gun Range is open for use by everyone, but on Fridays, they pay the $30 admission fee for their female clientele between 2 and 10 p.m. Tons of women use their facility each month. Some are members, and some are new and curious to the sport.
So ladies: Go on a Friday, skip the $30 admission fee and just pay for your ammo and targets. Don’t forget your ID.
