The holidays are just around the corner, and sometimes buying gifts can be a chore, so we’ve put together a Vancouver gift guide featuring some local brands from Vancouver and around B.C.

You can almost feel a jingle in the area as temperatures begin to drop and houses are being dressed to the nines in X-mas decor.

This gift guide features prominent local brands and events, clothes, treats, coffee and more.

You have to go through the regular process of buying tickets online, and you’ll get an option for the discount.

Whistler Blackcomb

Have a friend or family member who loves the great and frigid outdoors? Whistler Blackcomb is currently offering discounts on passes and Edge cards until Dec. 4.

“To experience it all, guests should act fast,” Whistler Blackcomb says in a statement.

Passes and edge cards can be purchased on the Whistler Blackcomb website.

Science World

Science World has tons of great options for gifts, including passes, merch and more.

If you’re on a budget, it even has a section for gifts under $15, like colour-changing pencils for just $1.99, or a sky prop whirly-copter for $4.

Wildplay

WildPlay Element Parks, headquartered in Victoria, with locations in Victoria, Maple Ridge and Nanaimo, has a holiday sale and is offering a $25 bonus with the purchase of a $100 gift card.

WildPlay offers adventures like axe throwing, bungy jumping and ziplining.

There are also discounts on season passes and kids’ season passes.

Purdy’s Chocolate

Who doesn’t like the gift of chocolate? Purdy’s Chocolatier, which was born in Vancouver over 100 years ago, has lots of products that make perfect, delicious gifts.

Purdy’s also makes it easy to make your gifts look festive, with holiday tins and other holiday items like Advent calendars.

Right now, a 20-piece holiday tin is $35. You can also get a gift box for just over $50. And if you’re shopping for someone vegan, it has you covered there, too.

Holy Duck Chili Oil

What better way to heat up when the weather gets chilly than with some chili oil?

Extra ducking spicy is Holy Duck’s best seller, which is only $20, and would make a great gift or stocking stuffer for the foodie in your circle. You can find it online or in the Chinese Canadian Museum of B.C.’s gift shop.

Karameller Candy Subscription

Karameller calls its candy subscription the “best mail ever.”

“When you sign up for our subscription service, you can choose between 5 x 100-gram bags of candy or 10 x 100-gram bags of candy each month delivered to you,” Karameller says.

You can also pick it up from the store at 1740 West 2nd Ave. in Vancouver.

“It’s perfect for yourself, or as a gift for the favourite people in your life!”

Timbertrain Coffee

Timbertrain is another local coffee roaster offering a couple of special holiday products.

“This year we’ve chosen two absolute standout coffees for Sweet Thing. A washed Pink Bourbon varietal from Colombia and a natural process lot from Ethiopia, coming together in an equal 50:50 ratio. Blended, they give the perfect expression of an indulgent dessert; just right for after holiday dinner hangs around the fireplace,” Timbertrain says on its website.

Duer

Duer, which touts itself as the creator of the “world’s most comfortable pants,” offers excellent value for quality.

Duer has a bunch of sales on select styles in-store and online until Dec. 1. There are some additional offers, including spending $200 and getting a $25 gift certificate or spending $250 and getting a $50 gift certificate.

The certificates are valid Jan. 5 through March 31, 2026.

Arc’teryx

You can’t talk about Vancouver brands without mentioning Arc’teryx. The outdoor clothing brand has lots of options at varying prices that make perfect holiday gifts.

On the lower end, Arc’teryx has a fleece crew neck offered for both men and women for $130. If you’re buying a gift for someone who enjoys mountain activities, Arc’teryx offers the Atom SV Jacket for men from $360.

Golden Tree Jewellers 

Based in Langley, this family-run jeweller is doing plenty of holiday deals.

Some of their products have been discounted by hundreds of dollars, which might make it the perfect time to get that special someone something extra special.

They’re also extremely well-reviewed on Google.

Aritzia

Another brand synonymous with Vancouver is Aritzia. While the brand’s warehouse sales are iconic for their massive lineups, it has lots of options for gifts.

While socks are a classic Christmas gift that some don’t tend to like, maybe it’s because they weren’t the “best-ever ankle sock.” Aritzia offers these in a three-pack for $28.

There’s also the Super Puff jacket, which features weatherproof fabrics and comes in over 40 styles and shades.

Reigning Champ

Aritzia hasn’t forgotten about the boys. Aritzia recently acquired Reigning Champ, a men’s clothing brand that was founded in Vancouver in the late 2000s. Reigning Champ’s holiday gift guide features many products, including fashionable outerwear and “stay-home staples.”

One of the comfier-looking stay-at-home items is the midweight terry logo relaxed hooded robe, which looks to be very comfortable.

1889 Trading Co. Grizzlies hoodie

It doesn’t get more Vancouver than a retro throwback hoodie featuring a reference to the iconic Vancouver Grizzlies logo.

The only difference is that this bear is holding some boba. The hoodie comes in multiple colours, and it’s another great gift option from the Chinese Canadian Museum.

Ecologyst

Based in Victoria, Ecologyst makes clothing that, once purchased, is the gift that keeps on giving.

Ecologyst offers repairs for life, which is exactly how it sounds. If you buy an item from Ecologyst, it will repair your clothes and return them to you. The clothing is also made locally, not outsourced to factories in Asia or other parts of the world.

The B.C. brand is currently having a sale on select styles.

Stonz

Stonz is a mom-founded brand born in Vancouver. It offers stylish and affordable clothing for kids. Stonz has been featured in Forbes, Daily Mom and Yahoo!Life.

Stonz is currently selling a full rain suit for babies, toddlers and kids for under $80.

Native Shoes

Native Shoes was born in Vancouver over a decade ago. The brand offers footwear in various styles, including boots, shoes and sandals. Native Shoes also offers footwear for kids.

With cold weather looming, there’s also a cold-weather collection in Native’s 2025 holiday gift guide.

Its products are also reasonably priced, ranging from $65 for something like the Jefferson to $155 for the Apollo line.

Vessi Shoes

Nothing says Vancouver more than a shoe brand that was born here and is waterproof, protecting your feet from the wet conditions the region often offers.

Vessi has a convenient gift guide and is offering lots of sales for Black Friday.
