
The Vancouver Fringe Festival is returning to Granville Island and venues across the city from Sept. 10 to 20, bringing 11 days packed with theatre, comedy, dance, drag, music, and more.
This year’s festival is embracing what makes Fringe so unique by celebrating “every kind of every thing,” and guests can expect more than 80 productions from local and international artists.
From laugh-out-loud comedy to thought-provoking theatre, there’s plenty to discover. Here’s a look at what’s in store.

Want to dive into something gripping? Check out 1984: Again by Theatre Terrific, a captivating adaptation of Orwell’s famous dystopian novel, or All We Have by Shayla Lazenby, a raw and emotional love story.
If you want a laugh, see The Adventures of a Valentine, a hilarious and heartfelt queer story of self-discovery by Tanner Valentine, and Hip Bang! Presents You Bet, which explores the dark and alluring world of gambling through a comedic lens, is returning to Fringe after selling out every performance in 2025.

The festival isn’t just for theatre lovers! Families can head to Kids Fringe, a free two-day celebration on Granville Island featuring child-friendly entertainment and hands-on activities, including a Puppet Makers Workshop, Baby Rave, Circus Lab, and a Kids Market.

Vancouver Fringe Festival
The popular Fringe Patio Music Series, co-presented with the Coastal Jazz and Blues Society, returns beginning Labour Day weekend.
Head down to Granville Island every evening to enjoy free live performances from local musicians from September 5 through 20. There is also a bar with drinks available for purchase, making it the perfect place to unwind pre- or post-show.
