Another wet one: Vancouver's first weekend of summer doubles down on rain

Jun 19 2020, 7:06 pm

“Juneuary” will continue for a little longer, as Vancouver’s first weekend of summer is far from sunny skies.

According to Environment Canada, Friday is expected to be the last clear period over the next three days.

While the forecast is currently a mix of sun and clouds, overcast skies are expected to roll in, with periods of rain beginning later in the evening.

Saturday also calls for cloudy skies with ongoing showers throughout the day. Despite the rain, however, it’s expected to feel like 26°C due to humidity.

Sunday, hopefully, will be mainly overcast although Environment Canada is calling for a 30% chance of showers. Temperatures will be notably cooler, however, with a daytime high of 19°C.

Vancouver’s weekend weather has to improve eventually, right?
