Vancouver forecast calls for nine straight days of sun starting this week

After a cold, wet start to the month of June, Vancouver could finally be seeing a steady stretch of dry weather.

The Weather Network’s 14-day forecast is calling for a nine-day stretch of sunshine starting this week.

Tuesday and Wednesday look to be the last few days of “Juneuary” weather, with showers expected throughout both days.

Thursday to Sunday will be mainly sunny and the weekend will remain dry with of sun and clouds across both Saturday and Sunday.

In terms of temperature, expect highs around the high-teens and low-twenties with overnight lows near the low-teens.

The streak of dry weather is expected to continue as clear skies are expected from Monday to Wednesday of next week. Thursday and Friday will round off the run of sunshine with mainly sunny skies before showers return for the following weekend.

Well, we can’t have it all, right?

Temperatures next week are forecasted to be slightly warmer as well. Although highs are expected to dwell between 20Ā°C and 23Ā°C, it’ll likely feel several degrees warmer away from the water.
