After a wet Canada Day and a gloomy start to July, Vancouver could finally see summer-like conditions kick in this week.
According to Environment Canada, Vancouverites can look forward to five consecutive days of sunshine.
The streak of warm weather is expected to begin on Friday, followed by a mix of sun and cloud from Saturday through Tuesday.

Environment Canada expects the only blast of wet weather during that five-day period to take place overnight on Saturday. Otherwise, overnight periods consist of either clear skies or cloudy periods.
Temperatures over the five-day stretch look to be peak summer conditions as well, with highs between 21C and 22Ā°C. Overnight temperatures will dwell in the low-teens between 12Ā°C and 14Ā°C.
