Disco Dumplings at Burdock & Co
This weekly series features a savoury dumpling menu, DJ Chris Allen spinning vinyl, and a flashy disco ball setting the mood. Plates are $10 and guests can choose from an assortment of decadent dumplings including nettle and ricotta with wild greens and pork and burdock with charred chili sauce.

Ancora’s fourth annual Caviar Festival kicks off on November 6. Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde and Sushi Chef Yoshihiro Tabo have crafted an elegant ensemble of caviar menu items inspired by Ancora’s Peruvian-Japanese concept, available until November 27.

Local chefs pair artisan charcuterie with local craft beer at Swine Out Vancouver. Tuc Craft Kitchen will spotlight some of the best small-batch, boutique wineries from BC’s Okanagan Valley when the Gastown restaurant hosts a special five-course Taste of BC Terroir Dinner on Tuesday, November 20.

US Thanksgiving Dinner at Ancora
Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde will put his Peruvian culinary heritage in the spotlight when the False Creek restaurant hosts a special holiday dinner service to mark US Thanksgiving on November 22. The three-course Thanksgiving menu will feature roasted mushroom bisque to start followed by Valverde’s unique interpretation of a classic Peruvian dish of arroz con pato (rice with duck) with huancaina sauce as the main and carrot cake for dessert.
