Disco Dumplings at Burdock & Co

This weekly series features a savoury dumpling menu, DJ Chris Allen spinning vinyl, and a flashy disco ball setting the mood. Plates are $10 and guests can choose from an assortment of decadent dumplings including nettle and ricotta with wild greens and pork and burdock with charred chili sauce.

Caviar Festival at Ancora

Ancora’s fourth annual Caviar Festival kicks off on November 6. Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde and Sushi Chef Yoshihiro Tabo have crafted an elegant ensemble of caviar menu items inspired by Ancora’s Peruvian-Japanese concept, available until November 27.

Swine Out Vancouver

Local chefs pair artisan charcuterie with local craft beer at Swine Out Vancouver. Come and taste the fruits of their charcuterie labours paired with locally brewed craft beer at the inaugural Swine Out Vancouver organized by Chefs’ Table Society of BC in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Association.

Dominion Bar + Kitchen Presents Tap +Table

The Macallan Whiskey Dinner at Mamie Taylor’s

Enjoy an intimate five-course dinner paired with five special expressions of The Macallan. US Thanksgiving Dinner at Ancora

Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde will put his Peruvian culinary heritage in the spotlight when the False Creek restaurant hosts a special holiday dinner service to mark US Thanksgiving on November 22. The three-course Thanksgiving menu will feature roasted mushroom bisque to start followed by Valverde’s unique interpretation of a classic Peruvian dish of arroz con pato (rice with duck) with huancaina sauce as the main and carrot cake for dessert.
