Can't-miss Vancouver food events happening this week: December 24 to 30

If you’re anything like us, the hunger for unique and delicious food and beverage-centred events is as strong as ever. It’s a good thing Vancouver always delivers them in excess.

Vancouver Christmas Market

As always, the Vancouver Christmas Market will feature a wide array of mouth-watering treats including Glühwein (a hot-spiced mulled wine), German Bratwurst, Gulasch, Spätzle, Schnitzel, Strudels, Transylvanian Chimney Cakes, a selection of German beer, award-winning German-style wine, and much more.

When: November 21 to December 24, 2018, from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm (closes at 6 pm on December 24)

Disco Dumplings at Burdock & Co

This weekly series features a savoury dumpling menu, DJ Chris Allen spinning vinyl, and a flashy disco ball setting the mood. Plates are $10 and guests can choose from an assortment of decadent dumplings including nettle and ricotta with wild greens and pork and burdock with charred chili sauce.

Feast of Seven Fished at Cibo Trattoria

Enjoy a seven-course Italian-inspired menu this month for two nights only at Cibo. Features on the spread include slow-cooked octopus and tons of local seafood.

Saturday Morning Brunch Cartoons – Holiday Hangover Edition

The Storm Crow Alehouse is celebrating this festive season with a holiday hangover edition of ‘Brunch Cartoons’ with Rick and Morty (uncensored).
