Come on, get happy! Starbucks Canada is going to run their Happy Hour promo from May 5 to 14, when all their Frappuccino® blended beverages are half off from 3 to 6 pm at participating stores.

Make plans to eat dinner out on May 10; it’s Mealshare’s second annual Tonight for Tomorrow fundraiser. Over 15 restaurants have partnered with the non-profit charity and agreed to donate one dollar to Mealshare for every dollar spent on food on this day.

4. Authentic Japanese Cooking Workshop at UBC Farm
Join local Japanese food expert and food educator Kimiko Suzuki to learn how to make an authentic home cooked Japanese meals in this hands-on class. Learn about traditional “ichiju, sansai” meals, get introduced to all the ingredients you need for real Japanese home cooking, and prepare a delicious meal of three authentic dishes accompanied by steamed rice.

8. Mangia Famiglia Sunday Supper at Cibo
