You can fly from Vancouver to this Caribbean Island for $298 return

While we may have just come out of another Canadian winter and are finally enjoying some sun, we all know Old Man Winter will be back again before we know it.

However, thanks to “unusually cheap flights” from American Airlines, you could see more sunshine and warm weather in your winter next year.

According to the flight gurus over at YVR Deals, the airline is offering select roundtrip flights from Vancouver to Curacao next January, February, and March for $298 return, taxes included.

For those who don’t know, Curacao is a Dutch Caribbean island near Aruba and Bonnaire – so you know it’s going to be a sunny and warm escape from Canada’s cold winter.

There is one catch, though. This particular deal involves an overnight layover in Phoenix and a 24-hour stay in Miami.

As such, YVR Deals noted on their website that this is only a good deal “if visiting those cities are considered part of your vacation.”

For those interested in heading south – and then a little further south – next winter here’s how to find this deal:
