Welcome to Coquitlam 2019
What: This annual Coquitlam event is geared to residents who are new to Coquitlam or Canada, as well as anyone interested in learning more about the city. The mayor, city council, and staff will be available to provide information and answer questions.

What: A multi-media performance that contemplates on North American Chinese shopping malls as spaces of cultural clash and creation. Combining text, miniatures, digital backdrops, and live cameras, No Foreigners explores the evolving relationships to these social spaces and the characters, histories, ephemera and experiences that keep people coming back.

Chris Gaskin
What: Vancouver’s Chris Gaskin was a “Stand Up & Bite Me” finalist on Bite TV, was the winner of the Champion of Champions Comedy Competition, and has been featured on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. He’s taping his first-ever comedy special at The Kino on October 9.
