The Anxiety Show

  • What: Each episode of The Anxiety Show features storytelling, standup, and variety-style comedy on a different mental health issue (or trigger) by booked comedians and open mic participants. The show has toured Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, and is making its 2018 debut with a F**k Mother’s Day special. Hosted by Megan Phillips.

Guest Chefs’ Dinner at Au Comptoir

  • What: Au Comptoir Executive Chef Daniel McGee will welcome not one but two dynamic culinary minds to the line at the Parisian-inspired bistro in Kitsilano when he hosts Chambar’s Nico Schuermans and The Mackenzie Room’s Sean Reeve for a four-course collaborative Guest Chefs’ Dinner on Tuesday, May 1 at 7 pm. Tickets to the Collaborative Guest Chefs’ Dinner at Au Comptoir are available for $85 per person plus tax and gratuity and may be purchased by calling the restaurant at 604-569-2278.

Burnaby Youth Week

  • What: Youth Week is a week of fun, cool, interaction, and celebration intended to build a strong connection between young people and their communities and to profile the issues, accomplishments, and diversity of youth across the province. There will be art and music showcased by Burnaby youth. Ninth Annual Evening in Support of CampOUT!

  • What: An intimate evening of fine food and wine, with great company, while learning more about this youth leadership program that is making a positive impact on the lives of LGBTQ2+ youth.
