  • What: Canada’s favourite son of comedy, Russell Peters comes to the Hard Rock Casino tomorrow through Friday. You’ve heard his bits repeated by your coworkers and family members a hundred million times, now hear them live!

Ballet B.C. at Queen Elizabeth Theatre

The Bard in Bombay Festival

  • What: This festival explores the influences of England’s legendary playwright and poet on the films of the Indian Subcontinent. Tonight’s showing is Shakespeare Wallah, a film about an Indian Shakespeare troupe plying their dwindling trade before the rise of Bollywood.

Vancouver Jewish Film Festival

  • What: Canada’s longest running Jewish Film Festival begins tonight, with a showing of Yidlife Crisis, in which comedians Chaimie and Leizer discuss love, life, and food in this entirety Yiddish movie.
