Christmas Glow Vancouver

What: Christmas Glow will take place inside the Harbour Convention Centre from November 21, 2019, to January 5, 2020. Visitors will be able to enjoy nearly 50,000 sq. ft. of enchanting twinkling lights and holiday activities.

This year’s theme for Vancouver is “Santa’s Lost Presents.” Guests will be able to help the elves find Santa’s lost presents. Themed light-up structures, including Santa’s sleigh and his trusty reindeer, will be set up around the venue. Adults will be able to enjoy the licensed bars, seasonal beverages, and live music while interactive activities and festive playgrounds will keep the kids busy.

Chelsea Wolfe

Chelsea Wolfe / Vogue Theatre

What: Hailing from Sacremento, California, singer-songwriter and musician Chelsea Wolfe brings her blend of gothic rock and neo-folk to Vogue Theatre on November 21 in support of her latest album, Birth of Violence.

FADO – The Saddest Music In The World

What: Accomplished Portuguese-Canadian playwright Elaine Ávila’s new play is FADO, a story of love and ghosts set in back alleys and brothels of old Lisbon. FADO is described as part theatre and part concert and won the Award for Favourite Musical at Victoria Fringe in 2018.

Music and Arts Festival for Cancer Research

What: 25toLife hosts a music and arts festival at the Russian Hall on November 21, with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. The all ages fundraiser will showcase a variety of live musicians, including rock, folk and, modern dance.  There will also be a raffle and a concession with snacks and drinks.
