Mixed Improv Arts

Thursday Artist Talk: Emilie Mae, “Palette Knife Adventures”
- What: In an illustrated talk titled “Palette Knife Adventures,” visual artist Emilie Mae will take the audience through her unique approach to abstract expressionism using oil paint and palette knives. She’ll reveal her technique for working with brushes, her experiences of living in three different locales (Vancouver, Detroit, and Kauai), and how her deep appreciation for poetry knits together the experiences that shape her art.
