Nine Dragons
- What: A stylish murder mystery set in 1920s colonial Hong Kong. Nine Dragons is a compelling exploration of race and prejudice in a colonial society. On the surface, Tommy Lam is obsessed with tracking down a killer in his native Kowloon. In immersing himself in the opulent and lurid world of Victor Fung, however, Tommy finds himself investigating the mystery of his own identity.

- What: Family-owned and operated for nearly 40 years, Richmond Country Farms is the farm stand adjacent to Highway 99 off Steveston. Open from early spring to just ahead of Christmas, the market has a bounty of fresh local produce, and prepared goods.

Free Coffee at 7-Eleven
- What: In an effort to bring awareness to the issue of plastic entering our oceans, 7-Eleven is inviting Canadians to head into their nearest location on Thursday, April 12 where they can get a free hot beverage of their choice. All you have to do is bring in your own travel mug or reusable cup, and you’ll get a hot chocolate, coffee, mocha, or whatever else your heart desires free of charge. This special treat is part of 7-Eleven and Ocean Wise’s partnership for the #BePlasticWise campaign.

One Girl Can – 2018 #IWANT2BE event
- What: The fourth annual #IWANT2BE event is in support of One Girl Can, an organization that provides girls in Africa the opportunity to reach their dreams through education. The evening entails an exciting live and silent auction, and a powerful video with stories from the girls themselves. Tickets to this year’s event can be purchased online and are priced at $99. The price of your ticket includes an AG Hair goodie bag of products valued at $85, a complimentary drink, and delicious appetizers from the award-winning No Fixed Address Catering.
