Polish Festival Vancouver

  • What: The Polish party is going down at the Shipbuilders’ Square and Pipe Shop in North Vancouver and will feature music, singing, folk dancing, arts, games, and more. And of course, there will be delicious traditional Polish food including sausages, pierogis and pastries. After you feast, check out the vendors selling Polish crafts, jewelry and accessories.

24th Annual Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields

  • What: Feast of Fields is a wandering gourmet harvest festival that highlights the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table, and between farm folks and city folks. With a wine glass and linen napkin in hand, you’ll stroll across a farmers field, travelling from tent to tent (sometimes through the barn, past the tractor or around the chicken coop) listening to live music, and tasting gourmet creations from some of BC’s top chefs, bakers, food artisans, vintners, brewers, distillers and other beverage producers.

One Love Westcoast Fest

  • What: One Love Westcoast Fest is a Reggae, Latin and Afro festival that has been taking place on the lower mainland since 2001. Formerly hosted at Trout Lake, the festival is moving to Taj Park Convention Centre in 2018.

Treefest 25 – Riverview Arboretum 2018

  • What: Ladner Village Market takes over the heart of Ladner Village with live music, tons of vendors, and much to see and taste.

BC SPCA’s Paws for a Cause

  • What: Taking place at David Lam Park, the fundraising walk-turned-celebration benefits local animals in the care of the BC SPCA at the Vancouver, Burnaby, West Vancouver, and Richmond Branches. A one-kilometre walk is open to participants (both human and canine) of all ages and fills the False Creek Seawall with animal lovers alike. In addition to the walk, the event will feature an afternoon filled with activities for both pets and owners. The festival site will feature vendors, activities, BC SPCA booths, and interactive games for fun-loving canines.

Purchase a Panda at Aberdeen Centre

  • What: For two days only, 500 plush pandas are being put up for ‘adoption’ – an initiative put on by Aberdeen Centre to benefit a local charitable organization – Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG). Anyone who visits the mall between 12 to 4 pm will be able to take a panda home for just $25.
