The Long Winter is coming. Keep yourself warm, by dancing your heart out at one of the many events happening in Vancouver tonight. Here are just a few.

The Vancouver Events Calendar has more.

Roger Hodgson

  • What: Singer-songwriter Roger Hodgson hits the Hard Rock Casino tonight. Formerly of Supertramp, Hodgson has been making the rounds lately as a prolific solo artist. A taste of the old in a new way.
  • Where: Hard Rock Casino Vancouver – 2080 United Boulevard, Coquitlam
  • When: Friday, November 27; 8 p.m.

King Crimson

  • What: Besides having a very sinister sounding name, classic rock group King Crimson are ready to blow your faces right off. These men are undeniable legends in the flesh. Don’t miss your chance to see them live.
  • Where: Vogue Theatre – 918 Granville Street, Vancouver
  • When: Friday, November 27; 7 p.m.

Disney on Ice presents Frozen

  • What: Had enough of Frozen yet? What if everyone is skating around and stuff? Disney on Ice is some of the best ice-based adaptions of implausibly popular animated movies around – or the only, it’s hard to say. Either way, kids love it.
  • Where: Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver
  • When: Friday, November 27; 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Pearl (Ru Paul’s Drag Race) DJs at the Biltmore

  • What: The enigmatic Pearl, best known for appearances on Ru Paul’s Drag Race, will be at the Biltmore Cabaret tonight, spinning on the ones and twos. Yeah, bet you didn’t know that was a thing that could happen. Well, it is. And it’s great.
  • Where: Biltmore Cabaret – 2755 Prince Edward Street, Vancouver
  • When: Friday, November 27; 10:30 p.m.

It’s a Wonderful Life

  • What: A stage adaptation of the classic Christmas movie, well on its way to becoming a classic itself. George Bailey, down on his luck, is shown what his life would be like were he never born. Pretty heavy stuff, but it’s worth it.
  • Where: Arts Club Granville Island Stage – 1585 Johnston Street, Vancouver
  • When: Friday, November 27; 8 p.m.
