Fall Into The Market

  • What: The evening will feature coastal wines along with tasty samplings from Granville Island food purveyors. It’s the perfect autumn event! Fall Into the Market takes place in the Dining Room of Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island. All proceeds benefit the BC SPCA.

Eight and a Half Inches of Comedy

  • What: Every Monday hosts Devin Alexander and Alex Sparling throw a stand-up comedy show featuring the best local comedians Vancouver has to offer and major touring headliners from around the world.

Coast to Coast dinner series at Edible Canada

Cirque du Soleil presents KOOZA

  • What: KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: It combines two circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.

  • What: The annual South Asian arts and culture festival throughout the month of November features cooking demonstrations, over fifteen different music and dance performances, an Indian bazaar featuring South Asian crafts and food, a room-sized rangoli,and more.

Leon Bridges

  • What: American gospel/soul singer Leon Bridges is on fire – his debut album “Coming Home“ topped Billboard’s R&B Album chart in June and its title track was featured in an iPhone 6 commercial before becoming a “Top 10 Most Viral Track” on Spotify.
  • Where: Commodore Ballroom – 868 Granville Street, Vancouver

Kings Head Comedy

  • What: Every Tuesday, Colin Sharp and James Kennedy present a showcase of the finest comedians In Vancouver. For only $5 you can catch comedians you’ve seen on HBO, Just For Laughs, on tour at comedy clubs across the country.

Provence-Inspired Cooking Class

SnowBall Classic

  • What: Ballroom dancing has never been this amazing in Vancouver. The 2015 SnowBall Classic will include the WDSF World Cup Ten Dance Championship as well as the WDSF World U21 Standard Championship and WDSF International Open Adult Standard and Latin competition. Some of the world’s best dancers will be competing.
