Post Malone

What: Post Malone is coming back to Vancouver. The multi-platinum American rapper has announced a performance at Rogers Arena as part of his newly-announced North American tour. He’ll be joined by Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh and will be playing on September 16, 2019.

RiverFest 2019

What: The 17th annual RiverFest is inspired by the Fraser River, and is in celebration of BC and World Rivers Day. There will be events throughout the week, with a main festival on September 21 with a family fun zone, live entertainment, an artisans marketplace, parade, and more.

Urban Salmon project at the Burnaby Public Library

What: A showcase of underwater photography of urban salmon runs by Fernando Lessa. Sites include Burnaby Stoney Creek and Brunette River. Attendees will learn how streams and creeks can be maintained so salmon can continue to come back and spawn.

The 2019 International Cannabis Business Conference

International Cannabis Business Conference

What: Canadian companies and those looking to enter the market will have the chance to network with over 1,500 of the world’s top leaders in the field at the third annual International Cannabis Business Conference.

Attendees will be able to attend speaker sessions and exhibitor areas. Some of the topics covered include California’s evolving cannabis industry, Vancouver and British Columbia’s regulations and the challenges for businesses and regulators, mergers and acquisitions, and edibles, topicals, and extracts, to name a few.

The conference will end off with an afterparty, taking place on a three-floor, 105-foot yacht docked at the Westin Bayshore Hotel. DJ Muggs, American DJ and producer for Cypress Hill, will also be in attendance.

School of Magic Afternoon Tea

What: The service begins with an assortment of artisanal scones, followed by savoury selections like a Pretzel & Cheese Broomstick, Mrs. Sprout’s Pasty, and Ron’s Chicken Leg to name a few.
