Erica Sigurdson at The Comedy Mix
- What: Erica Sigurdson is a gem in the crown that is Vancouver comedy. A semi-finalist on the word-famous Seattle International Comedy Competition, a repeat guest on shows like CBC’s The Debaters and local podcast sensation Stop Podcasting Yourself, as well as a performer on the legendary Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, Erica is a force to be reckoned with. But, like, in a funny way.

Shaolin Kung Fu
- What: Looking for an early morning work out with an ancient twist? Come down and learn Shaolin style kung fu from instructor Matthias Klenk, a martial artist with over 10 years of experience. The first class is free, and if you miss this one there are plenty more. It’s better than punching boards until your knuckles are bloody, I’ll tell you that.

Lunch & Learn with Diane Huynh
- What: A chat session with Diane Huynh, UI developer at Unbounce and The Notice Group. Learn a little something on your lunch break as Diane talks about her experiences in the tech industry, and how she found her calling making brilliant websites that anyone can use, and how you can up your own game.

INFINITE Effect World Tour

Miss Quincy & The Showdown
- What: Canadian blues rock troupe Miss Quincy & The Showdown come to The Cobalt tonight, along with guests Cobra Ramone and Savvie. The weekend isn’t here yet, but with these booze rockers it’ll feel like it’s always been here. Always.
