The thought of cooking a truly authentic seafood dinner can be daunting. Deciding what to order, how to prepare it, and how much to get takes time and planning, so we rarely entertain the idea of making it. But Fanny Bay has done all the hard work for us this year.
Included in the Seafood Charcuterie Box is smoked oysters, smoked mussels, candied sockeye salmon, Comox camembert, aged Farmhouse cheese, house-made pickled vegetables, olives, crackers, and orange marmalade. Now just imagine digging into that locally-sourced board on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Day. It also happens to come with a beautifully paired bottle of Open Estate Sauvignon Blanc, all for $55.
The Seafood Boil Kit really is the ultimate Christmas dinner feast. It’s easy and delicious, and best of all, it’s so much fun. Passing plates of sides we know and love is great, but cover that dinner table in newspaper (or festive wrapping paper) and have yourself a boil instead!
Inside each Seafood Boil Kit are all the classic fixings: Dungeness crab, mussels, clams, prawns, signature boil broth and spices, chorizo, green beans, potatoes, red peppers, corn salsa, and lemon. The eatery’s takeout menu is filled with pots of clams, prawns, and as many oysters as you can eat — from over 12 varieties! The restaurant will even include a complimentary shucking knife if you order the Shucker’s Dozen that comes with lemon, mignonette, and crushed ice.

Customers are able to safely order everything ahead of time and pick up at the on-site Shellfish Market, socially-distanced of course. There’s also an option to have your order delivered straight to your home.
Daily deliveries are available from 12 pm to 6 pm on all Vancouver orders over $75 dollars, and to the Richmond area on orders over $100 dollars. Delivery fee is $10 to $15 dollars, depending on the delivery zone. You may have already seen the refrigerated ‘Fanny Vans’ driving around town for the holidays!
