Whether you are looking for a new career path, got laid off from your previous company, or are finishing school and entering the workforce for the first time, there’s never been a better time to be a job seeker in Vancouver.

There are dozens of great companies across the city who are looking to hire, and we’ve compiled 17 who are actively recruiting new employees.

And with benefits like unlimited vacation time, staff outings, beer on tap and opportunities for telecommuting and career development, some of these firms boast some serious perks.

  • Who: The City of Vancouver is one of the city’s largest employers, not only at City Hall but also its divisions and subsidiaries across the region. It was recently heralded as one of Canada’s top diversity employers.
  • Jobs: The city currently has 34 job openings in parks and recreation, engineering, corporate services, planning, development and sustainability, technology, administration and community and social development.

  • Who: Vancouver’s OG of yoga apparel, lululemon makes technical, comfy and stylish clothes for all kinds of activities.
  • Jobs: Lululemon has 22 open jobs in its Vancouver stores alone, plus dozens of job openings in its store support sector at its Vancouver headquarters in Kitsilano.
