Lord of the Schwings: A Tolkien Burlesque Night

  • What: The Geekenders and Kitty Glitter present a silly, sexy evening filled with all your favourite Hobbits, Elves, Wizards, and Creatures. This burlesque parody promises to be hotter than the fires of Mount Doom.

Phantom Signal Season 2: Grand Finale

  • What: Old timey horror radio comedy at its best. Starring Jayson McDonald, Andrew Bailey and Tara Travis, with preshow brouhaha followed by a brand new full length episode. Come get your heart pounded and your senses shattered.

RILS Comedy Fundraiser

  • What: The Residences for Independent Living Society has provided accommodations to adults living with disabilities in Vancouver for nearly 50 years. They’re holding a stand-up comedy fundraiser to help raise funds for this amazing humanitarian organization. Featuring headliner Katie-Ellen Humphries, Byron Bertram, Julia Stretch, Andrew Vallance, Emma Cooper and more.

Project Broadway Musical

  • What: A two-act, improvised musical performed by emerging musical improvisers from Vancouver. Every word, character, song and dance move is created in the moment using audience suggestions as inspiration. The show is scriptless, scoreless, and filled with bravery and heart.

  • When: June 6 and 7 at 8 pm

BC’s Funniest Female Competition 2017

  • What: Three nights of competition for BC’s Funniest Female comics. Come out and laugh with the best, and vote for your favourite. Hosted by Jan Bannister.
    All audience members get one voting ballot.
  • Where: Lafflines Comedy Club – 530 Columbia Street, New Westminster
  • When: Preliminary rounds on June 7 and 8, finale on June 15. Shows at 8 pm
