Jerry Seinfeld

  • What: Originally a stand-up comedian, Seinfeld was catapulted to stardom in the 90s with the success of his now legendary sitcom Seinfeld. Since the show ended its nine-year run in 1998, Seinfeld returned to stand-up comedy and in 2009, began a successful web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Spooktober – Dare to Laugh

  • What: Spooktober is Vancouver TheatreSports’ limited-run seasonal celebration of all things eerie. There are four different shows you’ll be dying to see. Monster Matches pits teams of monsters against one another in a series of ‘head-to-headless’ short-form scenarios to see who ‘eeeks’ the most laughs. Cult Fiction – Everyone Laugh Together is framed as a spooky documentary. Scared Witless – Creepy Campfire Tales sees a group of hikers trapped by a storm in a spooky forest. WTF – What the Fright takes its format from their regular late night show, What the Fun!

Roy Wood Jr.

  • What: Roy Wood Jr. began his comedy career in 1999 at the age of 19 while attending Florida A&M University. In October 2006, Wood made his network television debut on The Late Show with David Letterman. In 2015 Wood became part of “the Best F#@ing News Team” as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. In addition, he is the host of Comedy Central’s storytelling series, “This is Not Happening.”
