Here are 10 great comedy events taking place around the city this February.

  • What: Vancouver TheatreSports League rocks the laughs with their annual TheatreSports Festival, Throwdown (formerly called The Massacre). February 1 through 4 sees local teams compete in a round robin competition. Then international teams from Oslo, Mumbai, Orlando, Seattle and Montreal join the fray from February 9 through 14.

Talent Time: 9 Year Hot Tub Party

  • What: The long-running variety show hosted by Paul Anthony celebrates it’s ninth anniversary at The Rio Theatre with a Hot Tub Party. Featuring dance dynamo Nolan Dubec, stand-up comedian Ivan Decker, and I,Kandee performing an anniversary song.
