Theatrix Presents: Elf Jr. The Musical

  • What: Inspired by the classic film, Buddy the Elf journeys from the North Pole to find out who he really is, and save Christmas. A fun and family friendly show from Theatrix, who provides access to performing arts for children regardless of age, culture, ability and family income.

Hey, Hey, It’s the Garbage Sisters’ Improv Show!

  • What: Denea Campbell and Stacey McLachlan are The Garbage Sisters improv duo, who are definitely biologically related and definitely bio-waste management professionals. They will be joined for their magical night of comedy by Marta Wesselhoff, Maarten Bayliss, Shane McLean, Ronald Dario and Ryan D. Anderson.

Mad House – The Jedi Doth Return

A Very Very Gluttonous Christmas

  • What: An all-star list of drag artists, comedians, and entertainers for a Christmas special. Featuring an intimate retelling of How The Grinch Stole Christmas, a Santa-dad for the bad boys and girls, a Christmas photobooth, and wild stand up routines to make you chuckle, “ho ho ho”.

Cards Against Vancouver Launch Party

  • What: The Fictionals are launching the long-awaited Cards Against Vancouver tribute deck at the Rio Theatre on Wednesday, December 20, and you’re all invited to see the new cards brought to life onstage at Improv Against Humanity.
