UPDATE Nov. 2014: 247 Main has closed, and the No Way Cafe is now open in its place
247 Main, located at, you guessed it, 247 Main Street is a new neighbourhood cafe in the Downtown Eastside, straddling Gastown and Railtown.
In what used to be the old Solder & Sons bookstore, they serve delicious coffee from Victoria’s Bows & Arrows Coffee Roasters, freshly prepared juices and a selection of teas from Granville Island Tea Co. They also have a small section of books, music on tape/vinyl/CD and a special project within the shop called Committee, featuring a selection of artist books curated by Denise Ryner.
