Canada Place and the Port Metro Vancouver are bringing Christmas at Canada Place back for its 28th year in 2015, kicking off on December 12.
The west promenade Canadian Trail will be decorated to the nines for the holiday season with Woodward’s famous Windows, a 15-foot snow globe, the avenue of Christmas trees, arts and crafts, and a special edition of FlyOver Canada.
Kids can also take a breather and relax inside Rudolph’s Theatre – a North Pole-style movie theatre playing Christmas favourites like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Entrance is free, but donations are kindly accepted to support the Strathcona Community Centre’s Food Security for Children program, which funds food for after school care programs, youth cooking programs and day camps. In exchange, donors will receive a free Canada Place commemorative pin.
