This weekend all three lower mainland night markets will be open. There will be two in Richmond, the Richmond Night Market, next River Rock Casino and The Summer Night Market at 12631 Vulcan Way, which opened last weekend. In the city, there will be only one night market, in historic Chinatown.Unlike the Richmond night markets the Vancouver Chinatown Night Market has an authentic feel to it as it embodies the vibe and history of Chinatown. The market runs from Keefer and Main to Columbia Street.
History and location aside, expect lots of great Asian cuisine, vendors selling good stuff for cheap and live entertainment. Remember at night markets cash is king.
