You can fly from Vancouver to Santiago, Chile for under $570 return

Between the scenery, immersive culture, and phenomenal food, there’s no end of things to do in Santiago, Chile.

And whether you’ve been bitten by the wanderlust bug, or you’ve just been waiting for a great travel deal, now is the perfect time to book a flight and pack your bags.

Thanks to the travel gurus over at YVR Deals, you can now fly from Vancouver to Santiago, Chile for as low as $565 roundtrip. At full price, these flights can often cost anywhere from $1,100 to $1,600.

According to the travel site, Aeromexico has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Santiago, Chile down to $565 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

This, they add, is a pretty incredible deal for a destination “that almost never goes on sale.”

Both the flight there and back have a one-way stop in Mexico City, and while the layover in the way down isn’t two bad (just three hours) the flight on the way home has a layover of 13 hours – from about 5 am to to 5 pm.

So really, if you plan it right, you could take this time to check out some of the sights in Mexico as well.

The deal is applicable to flights booked on select dates in May, June, August, September, October, and November of this year.
